BAM and Situation have been using the latest machine-driven tools to optimize the reach of social campaigns for BAM Film.
Our goal was to promote the latest new releases currently on screen at BAM to a hyper-local audience in the immediate BAM vicinity. Using Meta’s zip code targeting, we set up an ongoing campaign aimed at people who live or are currently visiting the Fort Greene area. There is no other interest targeting layered on, the goal is just to reach anyone who may be nearby and allow Meta’s optimization tools to do the rest of the work in finding qualified audiences for us.
This campaign is always on, and creative is rotated in as new films are announced and older films close.
Even with a limited weekly budget, this Brooklyn Locals audience has been a top performer across reach, engagement, and ROI. In fact, this audience proved so successful for Film that we have begun including it in other BAM campaigns across theater, education, music, and more.
