We passionately reward artistic risk and inspire new talent through several initiatives.
Each year, Situation rewards deserving NYC public school students with a Broadway show experience. The program began with MS 343 in the South Bronx. Located in the poorest congressional district in the nation, MS 343 is nevertheless one of the highest performing schools in New York City. We are honored to help develop tomorrow’s top talent and open young imaginations to creative possibilities.
Addresses issues affecting African American children and families, by investing in programs and services that create a strong foundation for children to thrive long-term.
Established in 2007, the fund awards scholarships to college-bound high school students exemplifying the artistic risk embodied by Situation’s former Creative Director—Ian Bennett—who lost his life at 26.
We are now accepting applications for the 2017 Scholarship. The deadline for applications is April 28, 2017. If you would like to apply, click here.
